Raw Dog Beef Diet

Your Raw Dog package will be sent out frozen and vacuum packed. Once you receive your order, freeze anything you don’t plan on using immediately.

If any of your products arrive thawed or starting to defrost, do not worry or panic. It is perfectly safe to thaw and re-freeze pet food.

Depending on the temperature of your refrigerator and your method of defrosting, generally speaking the meat will be good for 3-5 days.

You can safely keep Raw Dog frozen for 6 to 12 months. We recommend staying within a 6 month timeframe to avoid freezer burn. Although freezer burn will not ruin the food (still safe to feed) it can alter the taste to your dog.

We suggest putting frozen Raw Dog in the refrigerator  overnight. You can also thaw it in a sink filled with warm water. Try to defrost more than one day of feeding at a time so you always have prepped meals on hand. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THE MICROWAVE TO DEFROST RAW DOG.
